Course Outline

In this Creating Reports with Report Builder training class, students learn how to create, format, and customize SQL Server 2014 Reporting Services reports using the Report Builder tool. This class is geared toward business analysts and data consumers who need to be able to successfully create reports on a SQL Server Reporting Services server. Our live online class is taught with SQL Server 2014 but the class is available as a private class using SQL Server 2008 R2 or 2012.

  • Understand datasources and create datasets.
  • Create and format reports.
  • Create, summarize, and sort groups.
  • Add flexibility to the groups using parameters.
  • Enhance data with charts and maps.
  • Create custom expressions.
  • General knowledge of database concepts including tables and fields.
